Bearpaw Country Club is nestled on two hundred acres in the foothills of the Rocky Mountain on the north west edge of Calgary. The Club is owned on an equity basis by five hundred Shareholders. Bearspaw is recognized as one of the premium private golfing facilities in Calgary, and Alberta. Bearspaw CC has a determination to develop and maintain a family Club atmosphere, placing a strong emphasis on Junior Golf.

While on the exquisitley manicured course, you have a full 180 degree view of the magnificent Rocky Mountains and distant views of Calgary's downtown skyline.

Bearspaw's course is a Bill Newis design with alterations and improvements by Wayne Carleton of Graham Cooke & Associates Inc., Golf Course Architects. The challenging 18 hole championship course measures 6,750 yards with a par of 71. In addition the Club features excellent facilities - practice range, putting and chipping greens, and a pitching green where you can practice your greenside bunker play. The Dining Room, Lounge and Deck off the Clubhouse offer some of the finest views in Calgary. A well appointed Golf Shop features the latest in golf technology and fashion. The Club is staffed by many PGA of Canada Professionals to complete the picture.

Bearspaw Country Club has proudly hosted Local, Provincial, and National Golf Tournaments since opening in 1983. To date the Club and it's Members have proudly hosted the 1999 RCGA Canadian Mid-Amateur Championship, the 2003 PGA of Alberta Assistants' Championship, Alberta Golf's 2007 Alberta Senior Men's Championship, Alberta Golf's 2009 Alberta Men's Championship and  the Canadian Tour's 2011 ATB Financial Classic presented by Telus.
